How do I know which protector fits my car?
Each product page lists the exact models and screen sizes it suits. For Tesla, there are two sets: 15.4" centre + 8" rear (Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper with the 15.4" screen) and 16" centre + 8" rear (Model Y Juniper with the 16" screen and Model Y L). If you're unsure, measure your centre screen diagonally across the display area, or email us your model and build date at chargedcabin@gmail.com before you order. We'll help you check.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping is free and tracked Australia-wide. We process orders within 1–3 business days, and because our products ship from our overseas supplier, most orders arrive within 7–15 business days. Regional areas and busy periods can take a little longer.
How do I track my order?
You'll get an email with your tracking number once your order is dispatched. Tracking can take a few business days to show its first update while the parcel moves through international handling, so a quiet start is normal. If there's no movement after 7 business days, email us with your order number.
Are your protectors matte or clear?
All our protectors are clear (HD), not matte. Clear glass keeps your screen looking sharp and true to colour. If you prefer a matte, anti-glare finish, our current range isn't the right pick, but let us know, as it helps us decide what to stock next.
Will a screen protector affect touch response?
Our protectors are thin tempered glass designed to keep your touchscreen responsive for everyday use like tapping, swiping and pinching to zoom on maps. Most people won't notice a difference once it's properly applied. The key is a clean, bubble-free install, as dust or air under the glass is the most common cause of patchy touch.
Any tips for installing it?
- Park somewhere out of the wind and dust. A garage is ideal.
- Turn the screen off or use your car's screen-cleaning mode if it has one (on a Tesla, try Controls > Display > Screen Clean Mode).
- Clean the screen with the included wipe, then use the dust stickers to lift any last specks.
- Line the glass up carefully before letting it touch the screen. It's worth a dry run with the film still on.
- Press from the centre outwards. Small bubbles often settle over a day or two. Push any larger ones to the edge with a soft cloth or a plastic card.
Is the rear screen protector included?
For Tesla, yes: both Tesla sets include a protector for the 8" rear passenger screen as well as the centre screen. Our Zeekr 7X, Geely EX5 and BYD Sealion 7 protectors cover the centre screen only. Check the "What's included" section on each product page.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Get in touch and we'll offer an exchange for the right size where we stock it. The item needs to be unused, not installed, and in its original packaging. If the wrong fit was our mistake (for example our listing was wrong), we'll sort it out at our cost.
What's your returns policy?
If you change your mind, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Return postage is paid by you, and please email us first so we can send you the returns address. If something arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days and we'll ship a free replacement. If an item is faulty or not as described, we'll repair, replace or refund it at our cost, as required by Australian Consumer Law. See our full Refund Policy for details.
